Sumter County School District

In accordance with Section 1006.28, Florida Statutes, the Sumter County School Board, along with the district school superintendent and school principals, holds the responsibility for the content of all instructional materials. This includes any materials utilized in classrooms, available in school libraries, or featured on reading lists. These materials may be adopted and purchased from the state-adopted instructional materials list, through the district instructional materials program under Section 1006.283, or obtained through other means. We are committed to providing high-quality resources that support our students’ educational needs.
