Through our partnership with CEMEX, all of our 5^th grade students were recently able to spend the day at the Sumter Environmental Education Center (S.E.E.C) located within CEMEX at Center Hill. During this field trip, students were able to dissect owl pellets, dig for fossils, recreate models of the water cycle, go on a nature walk, fish and complete an activity on the relationship between natural resources and survival. We are truly blessed to have resources that allow our students the opportunity to learn outside of the traditional classroom setting – thank you CEMEX!
