Re:  Sumter County Schools’ first Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts

Sumter District Schools is proud to announce that Elizabeth Anderson and Danielle Stewart, both teachers at South Sumter High School, have been chosen as Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Experts for 2019-2020!   To be considered for this designation teachers must join the Microsoft Educator Community, earn at least 1,000 points in the Microsoft Educator Community to become certified MIE, and create a 2-minute video or Sway that answers a set of questions in a manner that creatively expresses what makes one a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert.  As a result of their acceptance, this step paves the way for South Sumter High School to begin the process of becoming a Microsoft Showcase school, a global network of schools committed to innovative change in learning and teaching.   Please join us in congratulating Ms. Anderson and Mrs. Stewart on this accomplishment.   More information about the MIE Expert program is available at
