I have taught all subjects at Webster Elementary School over the past years.  I am presently teaching 5th grade science.  I have always loved working with children and strive to help them prepare themselves for their futures.  I promote a scholarly environment in my classroom which teaches students how to collaborate and function in group settings.  I also teach students that if they practice having a "growth mindset", they will understand that their work effort helps them learn, if they find something difficult, keep trying until they can,and when they make  mistakes, it is a great opportunity to learn from those mistakes.  Lastly, I encourage my students to take risks because that opens up opportunities to do and learn more and to value each other as an important member of our team.
