Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Heather Davis

Welcome to 4th grade!  This is my 7th year teaching in Sumter County Public Schools. Teaching is a work of the heart and my heart is teaching math and science! When I see a child understand a concept or grows to love a subject, that may have been difficult for them, it makes my heart smile.

On a personal note, I have been happily married for 22 years. We have two daughters. Our oldest daughter, Makayla has her LPN degree. She works a full time job and is continuing her education to further her nursing degree. Our youngest daughter, Lindsey recently graduated from high school and is starting nursing school in January. As you can tell, they keep us busy.

  • Many students are struggling with knowing their multiplication facts 0-12. Please, have them review their facts, everyday. It is difficult to do well in 4th grade math, without knowing the facts from memory. Thank you!
