I have been happily serving South Sumter High School for over 25 years.  With a 9-year stint as the testing coordinator, I am currently back where I belong, working alongside our students, teaching Algebra and Geometry.  I love my Raider Nation and I love working with the families of Sumter County. 

In 1998, I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Mathematics Education and began teaching at South Sumter High School.  I have been happily married to Ty Lawrence for over 24 years, and we have been blessed to raise three beautiful daughters, with the love and support of this wonderful community.  It takes a village to raise a child.
