Coach Krakoff joined the Wildwood boys’ varsity basketball coaching staff bringing 17 years of varsity basketball coaching experience to our Wildcats’ program. As a head coach, Coach Krakoff guided three different high schools to a total of five state playoff appearances, earned four coach of the year awards, won three championships, and sent 17 players on to college basketball careers. As head coach of the Villages High School boys’ varsity basketball team, Coach Krakoff guided the Buffalo to the first two district championships in school history in 2013 and 2014 while coordinating offenses that ranked in the top 10 in the state of Florida in scoring and three-point shooting, according to MaxPreps. Currently serving as an ELA teacher at Wildwood Middle High School, Coach Krakoff is in his 26th year in public education, including 10 as an English teacher and 16 as a school administrator. Coach Krakoff lives in Middleton with his wife, Jenny, stepsons Jacob and Aaron, and their dogs, Sophie and Cash. Coach Krakoff also has three sons, Levi, Elijah, and Luke, and a daughter, Lydia. Coach Krakoff earned his master of arts in teaching degree and principal certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor of science degree in journalism from West Virginia University.
