I am grateful for the opportunity to join South Sumter High School as a Special Education teacher and as part of the Peers as Partners in Learning program. My journey here has taken me from Pennsylvania to South Florida, with a memorable stint at Florida State University in both Tallahassee and London.

With over twenty years of experience in secondary education, my diverse background includes roles in construction sales, finance, and teaching. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to designing and facilitating professional learning and training opportunities. Whether as a banker, teacher, student government advisor, or coach, I have learned that the key to success lies in understanding needs, envisioning possibilities, and building trusting relationships.

I am truly excited about this role and am committed to enhancing our classrooms, supporting fellow educators, and helping our students reach their full potential. Together, we can create an environment where everyone thrives.
