I am excited about being the School Counselor at Wildwood Intermediate School, home of the Wildcats!

This is my second year as a school counselor and my thirteenth year as an educator! I love creating a safe space for students and teaching coping skills to help with any struggles that prevent them from becoming a successful person in and out of the classroom.

I earned my Master's degree in School Counseling at Liberty University. A school counselor is a highly trained educator and mental health professional that supports students’ academic, career, and social/emotional development. I collaborate with administrators and staff members to implement responsive, preventative services that meet the needs of ALL students and ensure they reach their highest potential. I aim to help make our school community a safe and respectful place to learn and grow.

I provide individual counseling, small-group counseling, and guidance lessons. I teach coping strategies, skills, and methods to handle various challenges. I work closely with families and help to provide mental health referrals and community resources when needed.
