Welcome! My name is Lisa Davenport, and I am a native Floridian. I graduated from Lecanto High School in 1995, then moved to Sumter County in 2008. I graduated from Columbia College with a BS in General Studies with a minor in History. I started working at SSHS in 2017 as an ESE Paraprofessional. I started teaching in the fall of 2019 after completing my degree and becoming certified in Exceptional Student Education. This school year, 2024-2025, I am teaching the Criminal Justice I, II, & III classes. I graduated from the Law Enforcement Academy in 2004, and became state-certified in FL. I also was a 911 Dispatcher for the Sheriff's office here in Sumter County. 

I have been married for 16 years and have three boys, a beautiful daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.  I enjoy watching my two younger boys play sports throughout the year. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and relaxing. 

I look forward to my new classes this year and watching my students succeed in the goals they have set for themselves.
