Welcome from Principal Richard Hampton
Students, Parents, Staff and Community Members,
I am extremely excited about the upcoming school year for Wildwood Middle High School! I want to welcome you to what I hope is a great year for students, staff and the community. I take great pride in the success of Wildwood Middle High School and I am confident that we are making great strides toward making Wildwood Middle High School a place where everyone loves to work and learn! I am proud to be serving the students, parents, staff and community of Wildwood Middle High School.
As the principal at Wildwood Middle High School, I have three main goals. The first goal is to increase the rigor of our curriculum and maintain high expectations for our students and staff. Students should be challenged and held accountable to master the necessary skills to not only pass their classes and state assessments, but also be prepared for life beyond high school. A second goal is to develop lifelong learners. Through a relevant curriculum, students will see the importance of an education and how it will impact their future. The last and most important goal is to create a safe learning environment for all students and staff. Students/Staff deserve a school/work environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I am confident that all students can be successful if they attend school daily, complete their work on time, and get involved in the school community.
My team and I have spent the summer planning for this upcoming year with excitement and anticipation. We are eager to welcome our teachers, staff members and students to the Wildcat family. Our hope is that this year will build off of the successes of last year to make this an even better year.
I am looking forward to the 2017-18 school year and meeting the students, parents, staff, and community members. This will be an exciting year and I am proud to be a part of it!
