Welcome to Gifted!

Throughout the school year we will be conducting a variety of projects that include critical thinking strategies, creativity, and research skills. The goal is to provide students with opportunities to use and enhance these stratgies/skills towards various topics and content areas. We also work with a variety of technology including 3D printers! 

Elementary Schools:

So far this school year we have worked on Marine Biology as a topic that included research, writing, drawing, and other skills. They have participated in Breakout games that involves solving puzzles and/or riddles.

Now in the second quarter, students have a choice between the following two projects: Create a Logic Style Game or Independent Research Project. 

Middle Schools:

So far this school year we have worked on the Cardboard Challenge. This challenge had students create arcade style games out of cardboard. They also participated in Breakout games that involves solving puzzles and/or riddles.

Now in the second quarter, students are working on a small business project. During this project, students will see what it is like to start up their own small business and will be challenged to keep it successful!
