• After graduating from South Sumter High School, I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Management and worked in Human Resources for a few years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my three children.  When I decided to return to work, I attended Lake-Sumter State College’s Educator Prep Institute to earn my educator certification and was hired as a Reading Teacher at South Sumter Middle in 2009.  I continued at South Sumter Middle teaching 7th grade Reading and English Language Arts, as well as 6th-8th grade AVID Elective.  I have served in several teacher leadership roles as a Team Leader, Department Chair, and AVID Coordinator.  I earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida in December of 2019.

As a former WES student and parent of WES students, I am proud to be serving at Webster Elementary, Where Everyone Shines!
