Degrees and Certifications:

I am Coach Stephen Nave.  I was born in Leesburg, FL.  I graduated from Leesburg High School in 1996 and attended The Citadel; The Military College of South Carolina, graduating in 2000.  From there, I went into the US Army as a Signals Intelligence Analyst and was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, GA.  When I got out, I attended Armstrong Atlantic State University to earn my Health and Physical Edcation (K-12) certificate and taught 2 years at West Chatham Middle School, where I also coached football and baseball.  I moved back home to Wildwood in 2008 with my wife, daugther, and bassett hound named Botox - Bo for short.  Since then, we had our second daughter and continue to have a basset hound in the family.

I'm glad to be in Sumter County and at Wildwood Elementary School.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.

Students can participate in a variety of low, medium, or high intesity physical activity by walking, jogging, running, skipping, and hopping to continue to develop coordination and movement.  Going for a walk, jog, or run are simple, but small group activities such as hop scotch, jumping rope, and various sports like basketball, football, and soccer would be appropriate as well, for a minimum of 30 minutes per activity.
