GED Transcript & Diploma Requests
Effective January 1, 2014, Florida transitioned its credentialing process from the issuance of paper transcripts and diplomas to a paperless web-based credentialing system. As with any new process, there will be changes and questions. Use these Frequently Asked Questions (PDF, 91KB) to learn about the changes.
Beginning January 1, 2014, the fee for test credentials increased to $15 for each duplicate diploma or transcript requested.
Effective February 1, 2014, all diploma verifications are serviced through the duplicate diploma and/or transcript request process described below.
Duplicate diplomas and transcripts will no longer be able to be picked up in person after January 31, 2014.

Sumter students are aiming for the stars, and Phil Rosenberg is passionate about inspiring students to rise even higher! Mr. Rosenberg, of Weirsdale, is donating telescopes for students to use through his “One Hundred Telescopes Project.” He donated his 17th telescope on Monday to Wildwood Elementary School, making it his second donation in Sumter County. Each telescope is given a name, and the one donated to Wildwood Elementary is named The Stephen Hawking Telescope, endowed by Elly and Tim Carroll. “The idea is to create an environment where every child gets to say ‘Wow
Today Wildwood Elementary received a Robotic Telescope from Phil and Charlotte Rosenberg as a part of the 100 Telescope Project.
Middle school students from across the county submitted original pieces of art to the district’s third annual Art in the Capitol competition. The pieces included paintings, drawings, collages, prints, mixed media, computer generated art and photographs.
The rules and regulations included here apply districtwide. The competition is open to middle school students only. Theme: Florida Past, Present, Future Due Dates: All artwork is due to school art teachers on or before October 11, 2019.
