Adult volunteers and student volunteers are welcome in the Media Center. Book fairs and special events are excellent ways of helping.
Adult volunteers are needed to shelve books, repair books, prepare new books for circulation, work book fairs, and help students find materials. We have had wonderful volunteers helping at different times during the school year. It is so nice to hear a cheerful voice say, "Can I help with something?"
Student volunteers help with shelving books, and helping students find materials. They also help younger students to use the automated card catalog and with taking Accelerated Reader tests.
